The verdict
Hone Health is a lab-first platform: an at-home biomarker panel, a physician consult, and medication priced on top of a recurring membership. For someone who genuinely wants monitoring, that structure is defensible. What is not defensible is the headline. Sermorelin is a Premium-tier product, and Premium is $155 a month, so the real recurring cost is $285 — the advertised $130 is about 46% of what you pay — plus $65 to start. Their own help centre also describes the membership as an annual clinical programme billed at one twelfth per month, and confirms you are billed in months you do not use it, which sits badly beside the "no commitments, cancel anytime" line on the marketing pages.

Who it is for, and who it is not
A good fit if
- You want biomarker testing built into the programme rather than bolted on
- You want included video consults with a clinical team and are willing to pay a real membership for them
- You are already interested in a broader optimisation catalogue, so the membership earns its keep
Look elsewhere if
- You want one medication and nothing else — you will pay $155/month for a platform you barely use
- You live in one of the fourteen states, or D.C., where Hone is unavailable
- You want a genuinely cancellable plan: fees already paid are explicitly non-refundable
- You want a named pharmacy — Hone publishes none

The commitment trap
Two of them. The medication price is quoted without the membership it cannot be bought without, and sermorelin is specifically a Premium-tier product, so the applicable membership is the $155 one rather than the $25 Basic tier the public FAQ leads with. Underneath that, the help centre describes the membership as an annual clinical programme with the annual fee billed at one twelfth per month, and confirms you are billed in months you do not use the service.

Compounded peptides are not FDA-approved products, and a 503A pharmacy compounds for a named patient while a 503B outsourcing facility manufactures in batches under CGMP. Neither is a quality guarantee on its own — a named facility is simply a fact you can check, and an unnamed “partner pharmacy network” is not. Where you can get it
Published, and this is the most restricted coverage on either board. Hone is unavailable in Alaska, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and South Carolina. California and Hawaii are listed as no-injectables on the Basic tier, which matters because sermorelin is an injectable, and several other states vary by tier.
The honest cons
The part they would rather you skipped
The public pricing FAQ lists two membership tiers; the help centre lists three, and the $135 Plus tier is missing from the public page entirely — so the tier ladder a shopper compares against is incomplete at the point of decision. On the sermorelin page itself, the outcome statistics render as animated counters that never resolve, so the page ships three claims reading 0%, one of them an unsourced superlative about patient retention being "among the highest in health care". And the testimonials beneath them carry a footnote disclosing that the patients were compensated.

Read this before you buy
